As AI advances, we as product designers also need to evolve with it. There are many AI tools out there, each designed to help with specific tasks. Over the past couple of months, I have been trying to integrate AI into my technical creative workflow. It is still somewhat limiting for technical creatives like us, since we also need to consider manufacturing and feasibility constraints, not just making pretty artworks. One area where AI shines is in quick concept generation, especially when the idea is not overly technical. All of us designers have an "ideas" notebook filled with concepts that may never see the light of day. AI is a great way to bring those ideas to life.
