SynStride is a wearable device designed to help elderly individuals maintain proper posture and reduce their risk of falls by addressing kyphosis, a common condition characterized by excessive forward curvature of the spine. It integrates Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) technology, delivering gentle electrical signals through integrated electrodes to activate and strengthen specific muscles, helping users correct their posture in real time. The suit includes built-in sensors that detect poor posture and automatically trigger muscle stimulation, providing discreet, comfortable support that can be easily worn under everyday clothing.
